Kirsten Mew | 2017 Senior
Typically senior sessions are done the Summer before your senior year, however, Kirsten's senior session was cut short last summer due to an afternoon thunderstorm. While we were able to capture some images, I wanted to make sure she got the senior session she deserved.
Kirsten is a homeschool graduate that spent most of her days riding horses and traveling across the United States competing. Kirsten won the 2014 Youth "Extreme" Mustang Makeover Competition in Tennessee and won the the 2015 competition in Fort Worth, Texas. These competitions require Kirsten to gentle and train a WILD mustang in 100 days. {WOW!!} In 2016 Kirsten won the South Carolina State Championship, the Youth Extreme Cowboy Race Reserve World Champion {Hamilton Texas} and the National Youth Extreme Cowboy Race {Decatur, Alabama} in 2017.
Currently Kirsten is preparing for the 2017 Extreme Mustang Makeover which will take place in Lexington, Kentucky. If you would like to keep up with her journey you can follow her here { Just Believe Horsemanship } or through her sister's blog at { Southern Detour }.
While we are impressed by all of her accomplishments, the thing that impresses us the most is her love for Jesus! Never let your light stop shining for him!
Kirsten's adorable outfits are from Southern Detour boutique located at 4915 Highway 501 West Conway, South Carolina.

This maxi dress from Southern Detour is so cute!!!
